Hoar Frost at Harrison’s Rocks
January 12th, 2009
At this time of year, when events and shows are few and far between, I get the chance to focus on another passion, local landscape photography. Down here on the Kent / Sussex border we had the most spectacular day on Saturday – an amazing hoar frost covering everything in sight. This image – taken at Harrison’s Rocks – is constructed from 9 seperate exposures – a technique that allows you to capture a high dynamic range, hence the term ‘HDR’ photography.
