Magnus The Masseur

On Sunday evening we found ourselves up on Devil’s Dyke with Magnus. This is a shot we’ve had planned for several months and on Sunday evening (despite an atrociously cold north wind!) everthing fell into place and we came up with this.

Magnus is a masseur and healer. I wanted to try and encapsulate the power of his hands in the most graphic way possible. I think it works

I’ll soon be posting dates for a new series of Lighting Workshops for both ‘Off Camera Lighting’ newbies and also those who have a grasp of the basics but want to move on to more advanced techniques. Coming soon… Tunbridge Wells Rocks!

Just a little over two weeks until the opening of the Tunbridge Wells Rocks exhibition at the Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery. The exhibition features commissioned work by yours truly, along with artwork by Matthew Grant and ‘Same Sky’. There is a special ‘invite only’ preview on Thursday 25th February from 6pm to 8pm and I have a limited number of tickets if you would like to come along. Just drop me an email with your name and address and I will be in touch.

Mount Edgcumbe Rocks Shoot

The one, great side effect of taking part in the Tunbridge Wells Rocks exhibition is that I’ve unearthed a whole heap of interesting locations for photo shoots. Once such spot is Mount Edgcumbe Rocks.

I shot there last Sunday with the Tunbridge Wells Home Educators group and this Sunday I was back again with a fantastic local model called Lydia. Click the image for a slideshow of images from the shoot.

Jasper the Great Dane

Every now and again I come across a dog that is just so striking, I just have to get pictures of it. Jasper is one such dog – a six month old Great Dane that we bumped into last weekend while out walking our dog Ziggi. I think you’ll agree, he really is something special!
