Every now and again I come across a dog that is just so striking, I just have to get pictures of it. Jasper is one such dog – a six month old Great Dane that we bumped into last weekend while out walking our dog Ziggi. I think you’ll agree, he really is something special!

We are making plans for our next lighting workshop that will be held in Tunbridge Wells on Sunday 14th March 2010. As with all previous workshops, the number of participants will be kept to a minimum to ensure the best ‘hands on’ experience for everyone attending. If you are interested, please drop me a line at steve@momofoto.co.uk or call me on (07872) 611160.

“….. came away with a head full of groovy new vocab (slave! gobo! shoot-thru… er.. snoot!) and a stash full of mind-busting ideas… thanks for a strobe-tastic day!” TR

… just want to say thanks again Steve. Great session, teacher, models, fellow students, tea and biscuits! What better way to spend a Saturday! “ JB

“… it was such a great experience! “ NL

post The Tunbridge Wells Rocks

December 17th, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Steve Collins @ 9:47 pm

Eridge Rocks
In February 2010 I am taking part in an exhibition at The Tunbridge Wells Museum and Art Gallery, celebrating the unique sandstone outcrops that can be found in and around our town and the surrounding High Weald.

The High Weald sand rocks have fascinated residents and visitors for over 6000 years.  They have provided an unchanging backdrop for a story that stretches from prehistoric hunter-gatherers, through Georgian and Victorian holidaymakers, to the present day.  This exhibition uses historic images and objects from the Museum collection, along with newly commissioned art work, to explore how generations of people have responded to the rocks as places of wonder and mystery.

I am keen to hear from anyone who has a close connection with the Tunbridge Wells Rocks and who would be interested in having their portrait taken for inclusion in the exhibition. If you are interested, please email me at steve@momofoto.co.uk or call me on 07872 61160.

Read more at the Tunbridge Museum and Art Gallery website.
